This is an excellent paved, 2 lane boat ramp with boarding docks. Operated by the city of Ft Walton Beach, it is located about 7 1/2 miles west of the Destin Bridge on the Santa Rosa sound. Ample paved parking, with an overflow parking lot on the east side of the park. Picnic areas, covered pavilion, bathrooms, a separate fishing dock, and a playground. There is an International House of Pancakes restaurant next to it. The ramps are a little steeper than most and the waters surrounding the ramp are shallow. There is no marked channel to the Intracoastal Waterway, just head due south once you launch until you reach the Intracoastal, then you can turn to the east toward Destin.
